Casse Croute (Livermore)

Picture Holder
Casse-Croûte Bakery in downtown Livermore is slowing down to prepare the freshest breads and pastries in a French tradition. Casse-Croûte, a common French term, is synonymous with the sense of simplicity as in a simple meal. Owners Richard and Lenore grew up in France and Long Island respectively and share a passion for cooking. Their bakery, opened in 2012 is their opportunity to share many of their specialties including artisan breads, pastries like chocolate croissants or braided brioche loaf, desserts like fruit tarts and galettes with almond filling, and a variety of cookies. The wholesome and comfortable atmosphere is ideal to savor one of their handcrafted sandwiches or quiche paired with a bowl of homemade soup.
