|Sauced brings authentic barbecue right to the heart of downtown Livermore. Cousins Brenden Scanlon, pit master who learned his techniques in Atlanta’s barbecue competitions, and Tri-Valley native Barrett Gomes made their dream of opening a restaurant a realty back in 2012. The aroma of smoked hickory and apple wood fills the air while meats spend up to a half-day in the smoker. Live music every Friday and Saturday nights beginning at 9:30 also add to the rockin’ atmosphere. Reading the menu of barbecue classics like St. Louis cut spareribs, Carolina pulled pork and Texan’s beef brisket makes your mouth water. The sauces range from a Kansas City-inspired “hot tin roof”, a sweet tomato base with habanero to “pig candy” with a little heat. Good thing there’s a full bar with cocktails, beers, wines and a full-paged whiskey menu.|

Opened Monday through Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Thursday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.; Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 12:30 a.m.; and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. During football season they open at 9:30 a.m. on Sundays.
